FROM SIN TO THIN

Last night we had some delicious 6 point pork chops for dinner.

The recipe I found on allrecipes.com was great! It was quick to assemble and very simple.

Pork on the fork!

Roasted Apple Pork Chops

2 tbsp vegetable oil

1/4 cup chopped onion

2 (1/2 inch thick) pork chops

1/4 tsp salt

1 apple- peeled, cored and sliced

1 tbsp brown sugar

1/4 tsp ground mustard

1/8 tsp ground cloves

1/4 cup hot water

Heat oil in large skillet. Saute onion in oil for 1 minute, or until tender. Remove onion and set aside. Brown pork chops on both sides in oil.  I crossed out the oil because I decided to use my non-stick pan without oil instead, this saved me approx 5 points.

Place chops in 9” pie plate and sprinkle them with salt and pepper. Cover the chops with the apples and cooked onion.
